A Case of Skin Metastasis From Gastric Adenocarcinoma

Abstract

|
A case of metastatic gastric carcinoma to skin was detected during follow-up study of twenty gastric carcinoma patient who were undertaken gastrectomy at least six months previously.
A b5-year-old male had been undergone radical subtotal gastrectomy on 21 st March´ 1973 due to gastric carcinoma. From postoperative 13 months, he noted small nodules appeared on the right chest wall and cervical- region. The. nodules. became enlarged and conglomerated and new nodules appeared on the entire body. except bothh extremities below the elbow and ´knee joipt respectively,- The nodules were proven as metastatic adenocarcinoma from the stomach.
